Some Thoughts on Palestine Status

why do i keep hearing people saying that Palestine is a lost case? i truly can't understand, we only remember Palestine when we see Palestinians suffering and the Israeli Government Attacks causing 200% damage if not more for any resistance they find from the isolated NATION while being shielded by international cover with laws we AGREED to and remember, they are a minority!! do you know what kind of advantage is this?! do you realise that you have every possibilty of DOING a 100% positive Change and hop on steps forward if we put hands in and decide to use our heads for once?! i want to tell you something, you are complaining at the increase of prices in Jordan, its the price we pay for the security we are porvided, for being dependant in the wrong manner on the wrong people who will unless you choose to be under fire and fight, you will have to keep paying! so its either you pay, die starving or START SOME CHANGE FOR THOSE WHO ARE DYING IN PALESTINE FOR YOU. THINK AS A NATION FOR ONCE!! MOVE FOR GOD'S SAKE.

following SIMPLE logic, What ANY Palestinian Government MUST do is,

RECOGNIZE PALESTINE ON THE GEOGRAPHIC MAP INTERNATIONALLY AND BY THE UNITED NATIONS INSTEAD OF HAVING PALESTINIANS THOUGHT OF AS A BUNCH OF PEOPLE STUCK IN A CITY SOMEWHERE IN ISREAL

WHEN THE UNITED NATIONS DOESNT DO ITS JOB PROPERLY, VOICE YOUR ANGER, ITS YOUR RIGHT!

BARTER WITH THE WEST, WHATEVER BUSINESS YOU HAVE WITH THE WEST, BARTER FOR A DISADVANTAGE FOR ISRAEL. ISNT THIS WHAT THEY ARE DOING?!!

NO ONE WILL COME TO YOU AND GIVE YOU RIGHT OR JUSTICE ESPECIALLY IF THEY WONT BENEFIT FROM IT. TELL ME WHAT THE ISOLATED PALESTINIANS HAVE TO OFFER TO WHO WOULD LEND A HAND?? OIL?? NOTHING BUT UNDER-PRICED BLOOD!!

personally speaking, i dont wish israeli's death,, i want a decent life for our Nation, THE BEST LIFE THAT COULD POSSIBLY BE ATTAINED AND ITS NOT IMPOSSIBLE.

Three? is that you? Thank you for reading through all posts =D and thanks for your kind words, i was trying to phrase how i feel and i believe everyone feels the same way towards the situation in Palestine but my message is simple. we can do something about it. why curb in fear when measures of justice say that its our right to have an independant Palestine where people live in prosperity. why not?

Yesterday The Israeli forces flew over Gaza with Rockets again, killed and injured civilians hunting for terrorists, is this filed under the Sedrot Case or simply because no one is saying Don't ?! will ever Israel come to the Palestinian Government and say here is country? definitely no, it needs to be put RIGHTFULLY under the pressure to BACK OFF but who will stand in their face, who will speak of their regime's odd practices? supposidly our media which lacks presentation, credibility, influence and outreach especially to whom can made a difference. we have to do so much more than what we are doing right now. its no time to ignore whats going on in disbelief or in complaining. action speak for deeds. pillars need to be built first on strong foundations.

I'm one of those people you mentioned who think it's a lost cause.

you know how in math they teach you to take a graph of existing data, and use it to extrapolate (basically predict) what will happen in the future.

Palestine's graph has only been going down with the all time lows being after 9/11, Arafat's death, and the fighting between Hamas and Fateh.

What makes you so optimistic then knowing all that has happened in the last 10 (if not 50) years?

life is not linear by any measure Hani, extrapolating is one thing, but i learned how to derivate to find the order of the function at hand.

what makes me optimistic is one fact: " we didn't try to find a solution and we didn't try to be unconventional, we are blind to our potential and blind to how things really work "

where does lost cause lead you? what will happen if i followed your words?

I guess it's not really this one issue, this is about a whole life philosophy.

As I see it, as long as I want Palestine to be free and it isn't, it's a personal failure. So if I stop wishing (coz that's all I can really do), stop caring, then I won't end up being disappointed which will leave me more time to worry about the things where I can actually make a difference.

The other side of the argument is that if you give up by default you're going to miss any opportunities to change the outcome. Yala, I hope you find those opportunities.
