This is as Qwaider has mentioned, eg. with ethanol.

I've read that Cows for example produce more C02 than cars, etc...

I'd also look a bit at the bigger picture and I'd like to think that the Earth will work much better with less people. 6billion is too much, and 3b is a good figure to start from.

Sho rayek?BuJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04155592127392703647noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9128603583355750172.post-78393988458104054902008-06-05T21:49:00.000+03:002008-06-05T21:49:00.000+03:00i think they are going for CNG because its availab...i think they are going for CNG because its available in the states in large reserves so they reduce dependence on foreign oil, im new to these fuels, im learning about the technologies behind them, will keep digging, thanks for your input Qwaider =D

psst, lissatna halla2 3am ne7ki 3an il driving awareness, tesla motors full functionality is out of question here, heheheheTalahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17308820896939744575noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9128603583355750172.post-58872145441531027322008-06-05T17:53:00.000+03:002008-06-05T17:53:00.000+03:00Ethanol has it's own issues by the way. So it migh...Ethanol has it's own issues by the way. So it might not be a suitable alternative long term

Biodiesel, same thing. In addition to some research attributing more green house effects from it's break

Electricity is not as bad as it used to be. My new dream car is all electric "Tesla Motors" goes from 0 to 60MPH in 3.6 seconds (faster than Ferrari) takes 3 hours to charge, and goes 200 miles on a single charge.

Hydrogen and Fuel cells are not the same thing. Although, Hydrogen does go into the production of fuel cells
BMW has a working prototype of internal combustion engine that runs on hydrogen. While fuel cell technology might also be a viable option, the cost is still prohibitively high
Hydrogen cost is so high it's likely not going to go anywhere anytime soon. In addition to safety concerns
(even though hydrogen is so abundant in the universe, it's just highly active and almost always bound to other elements)

As for Compressed Natural Gas, it smells bad :) REALLY
They've been using these for a while in Europe and I've seen many in California.
The down side for CNG is that it's just like fossil fuel, it's a non renewable sourceAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
